EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
IN THE NURSING LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR CEU MANILA
CEU’s Arian Joy Andong ranked 9th in the June 2007 licensure exam for nurses.
Aside
from making it to the top ten, CEU Manila College of Nursing is also
proud of its 86% passing average, as compared to the 48% national
passing average. When translated into raw data, this means that out of
480 examinees, 422 passed.
In
the December 2007 Nursing Licensure Examination, CEU Manila also
performed well with a 56% passing percentage as compared to the 43%
national passing percentage. CEU 1907 – 2007: THE FIRST 100 YEARS (For inquiries, pls. log on to www.ceu.edu.ph)

Centro
Escolar University, Malolos, ranked first among all universities and
colleges in Central Luzon in the Allied Medicine Licensure
Examinations. The Pharmacy Department garnered 91%; Nursing obtained
85%; and Dentistry got 100%.
To
further boost this claim, the Philippine Board of Pharmacy and the
Professional Regulatory Commission awarded a plaque of excellence to
the Pharmacy Department last August 3, 2007 at the Manila Hotel, after
placing second among all Pharmacy schools in the Philippines, next to
the University of the Philippines.
Meanwhile,
CEU-Malolos Nursing Department is still the top nursing school in
Region 3 as it obtained 85% passing rate during the June 2007 licensure
exam, as compared to the 48% national passing rate. In fact, Dr.
Felizardo Francisco, CHED Region 3 Director sent a congratulatory note
to the department, through the CEU President. This is the second time
that the Nursing Department is proclaimed the top nursing school in
Region 3. Not to be outdone, the Department of Dentistry claimed top 5
in the December 2007 board examination. The honor was through the
courtesy of Dr. Beverly Jane Bondoc. The complete facilities and high
quality of instruction have greatly contributed to this achievement,
according to Dr. Shirly Wong, the Dentistry Program Head.
No wonder CEU Malolos ranked first among all the universities and
colleges in Central Luzon in the Allied Medicine Licensure
examinations. CEU 1907-2007: THE FIRST 100 YEARS (For inquiries, pls.
